Hotel Villa Ottoboni was born from an ancient papal villa. The current hotel is a wonderful example of late fifteenth century architecture. It is located in the center of Pordenone less than 1 km from the railway station and 5 minutes by car from the Pordenone Fiere exhibition center.
Each hall of the Hotel is furnished in respect of the period style and the most recent hotel is characterized by the careful service and comfort of its rooms.
Pordenone, a city known for its flourishing industry and its ancient history, was born from the close relationship between the city and its river, the Noncello. It looks like a modern city and always in step with the times but linked to its past magnificently represented by the palaces, the frescos and the monuments of the suggestive historical center; is a dynamic and creative town cradle of artistic, musical and literary events of international scope such as "Pordenonelegge", "Giornate del Cinema Muto" or "Dedica Festival" which have made Pordenone a rich and original cultural reality in the Italian panorama and not only .
Pordenone is not only culture but it is also nature because a few steps from the city is the Riviera del Pordenone, a coastal road with a cycle path and a large sidewalk where you can admire a splendid green oasis. There is also the vast green area of the Galvani Park which contains in its area the eighteenth-century residence of the Galvani family, now home to the Armando Pizzinato Modern and Contemporary Art Gallery. The green area is also characterized by a small lake on whose banks extends the MIRA - Itineraio Museum of the Ancient Rose: along a walk you can admire numerous varieties of roses. The particular arrangement of the flora of this museum en plein air allows you to retrace the history of the rose and its family tree.
